Description
This trio of summertime slushies is the perfect treat to beat the heat on a hot summer afternoon. They are also perfect to serve at a bridal shower, summer party, or luncheon with friends.
Ingredients
Strawberry & Pineapple
- 16 ounces strawberries, frozen
- 20 ounces pineapple, frozen
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups ice
- 1/2 – 1 cup simple syrup
Strawberry & Raspberry
- 16 ounces strawberries, frozen
- 16 ounces raspberries, frozen
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups ice
- 1/2 – 1 cup simple syrup
Strawberry & Watermelon
- 16 ounces strawberries, frozen
- 20 ounces watermelon, frozen
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups ice
- 1/2 – 1 cup simple syrup
Instructions
- If using fresh fruit, dice and weigh out quantities needed for each slushie type you will make and place into the freezer for 4-6 hours or until frozen through.
- Measure out equal parts of sugar and water (2 cups water to 2 cups sugar) and place into a pot.
- Turn heat to medium-high and bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. About 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool (about 30 minutes) and place into a container. Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- If using frozen fruit, weigh out the quantity needed for each slushie type you will make and place into the blender.
- Scoop out about 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of ice and place into the blender.
- Add 1/2 cup to 1 cup (depending on level of sweetness desired) to blender.
- Blend fruit, ice, and simple syrup on high for about 1-2 minutes until desired consistency is achieved. You may have to use a spatula to scrape down the sides.

Notes
For the Strawberry & Pineapple, garnish with pineapple mint, a fresh sliced strawberry, and a fresh sliced lime.
For the Strawberry & Raspberry, garnish with basil, a fresh sliced strawberry, and a fresh sliced lemon.
For the Strawberry & Watermelon, garnish with thyme, a fresh sliced strawberry, and a fresh sliced lime.
